Electra Bug is a reputable company with a proven track record, situated in a business premises they own with a full time staff compliment: we do not utilize sub-contractors.

Electra Bug specializes in Electrical, Beetle, Plumbing, Gas & Electric Fence Inspections and Repairs for issuing of a valid Certificate of Compliance (C.O.C.). Our clients are assured that we will be available should any unforeseen problems need to be rectified. Sellers, Agents and Attorneys who make use of our services have the assurance that we adhere strictly to the Code of Practice in issuing a C.O.C, thereby avoiding possible comebacks and/or legal implications.

Our qualified staff do inspections and repairs daily, co-ordinated by our capable secretaries. We have numerous fully equipped and branded vehicles in operation daily. We have sufficient staff to complete a job on short notice and where necessary we work on Saturdays and Sundays. Through the years we have built a trained team of trustworthy people who are able to work without supervision.

We carry the necessary insurance cover for any eventuality that might occur for both our staff and clients. As members of the Electrical Contractors Association our clients are covered by a workmanship guarantee.

Where an Agent or Attorney refers Electra Bug and an inspection is done, but the Seller decides to use another company, the Agent is protected by Electra Bug’s initial completed inspection report; should the other company do incomplete work resulting in the Purchaser taking the matter to court or calling in the Inspection Authority.

Our plumbers are registered with the City of Cape Town and the Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB). We do all plumbing maintenance, renovations, new installations and plumbing certificates of compliance (COC).

PIRB certificates can be issued for geyser installations, heat pumps, solar water heating systems and solar geysers. We replace burst geysers and charge as per the national insurance schedule of rates. All new and replaced geysers are issued with a PIRB certificate.

By obtaining your Certificate of Compliance through Electra Bug, you are assured of all compliance with the Code of Conduct by accredited people registered with the relevant registration bodies of South Africa. We have the infrastructure, staff, insurance and ability to ensure that the work is done professionally; and we are a phone call away to sort out any problems that may arise.
